Chewacla State Park

Chewacla State Park is a beautiful 696 acre park located in Central Alabama. Located within the park is a 26 acre lake which is perfect for swimming and fishing.

There are 10 campsites specifically designated for tent camping that our seprated from the RC/Tent combo campgrounds. No reservations are available for these sites.

There are 8 different trails making this park perfect for the avid hiker. The trails: Sweet Shrub Trail, Boy Scout Trail, Troup 30 Boy Scout Trail, Eagle Scout Trail, Deer Rub Trail, Loop Road Trail, Mountain Laurel Trail and Mountain Bike Trail.
