Frank Jackson State Park

Frank Jackson State Park is a 2,050 acre park in Southeast Alabama. The primary attraction of the Frank Jackson State Park is the 1000 acre lake, Lake Jackson. This is a large stream fed lake that that is great for fishing. Additionally there is a beautiful wooden boardwalk to an island mid lake.

Not only does the lake provide excellent fishing for bream, bass, crappie and catfish, but it is also good for swimming and boating/canoeing. There is also a trail around the lake for a relaxing walk.

There is one campsite in the park, the Frank Jackson State Park Campground. Currently all sites are tent/RV, but they have had some tent only locations in the past.
