Meaher State Park

Meaher State Park is a 1,327 acre park located in Baldwin County. The park is on an island surrounded by wetlands on Mobile Bay.

The park has one campground, Meaher State Park Campground, with 56 campsites. Unfortunately, though tents are allowed, these campsites are mostly designed for RVs. The park is also great for day-trips and provides plenty of picnic tables and parks.

There is great freshwater fishing available at Meaher State Park - a 300 by 200 foot T-shaped pier and a boat ramp. In addition to fishing, there are two nature trails and a boardwalk through the wetlands that provides spectacular scenery.
