There is not an abundant amount of camping in the southeast Alabama region, but there are some great state parks. Most camping is combo tent and rv, but there are some nice tent camping locations along the Georgia/Alabama border that might be worth a visit.
If you are looking for some good hiking and forest scenery, we recommend checking out Chattahoochee Park.
If you're looking great fishing, try checking out Hardridge Creek Campground. It has some great tent locations right along the Chattahoochee River with grills to cook up your catch fresh.
